The other name is condyloma acuminatum. This disease affects females more frequently than males. The female-to male ratio has been reported to be 1.4:1. The highest incidence of GW is found in young adults 15-25 years. Condiloma acuminatum doesn’t become clinically apparent until several months after inoculation with human papillomavirus.
